Free Charlotte History Festival Featuring Local Artists, Live Music, Food & Beverages
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is turning 50 years old in 2024! Kick off the celebration at our first municipal park, Independence Park, at this Charlotte history festival.
Saturday, April 20: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In partnership with the Trail of History, this festival will feature history programming and education by local partners, community outreach organizations, and more:

Free parking is available in the CPCC Parking Deck 1 at 1321 Charlottetowne Avenue
Gold Line Streetcar
